Several Canada provinces have their distinct Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). A PNP gives an opportunity for a province to nominate Canada immigration applicant to reside in that province with attributes to the province’s economic needs.

With the Provincial Nominee Programs, business immigration categories are available for individuals who are potential Canadian business venture starters or investors. The required net-worth and minimum investment is different from province to province as each PNP business immigration platforms can decide the requirements that best fit the specific province.

The entire PNP business immigration program makes it a necessary for the applicant to create a well detailed business plan. Such a plan most entail the type of business to be purchased or established, and a detailed financial budget showing how the transactions of the business will be of benefit to the local economy and labor market.

An additional unique characteristic of all the PNP business immigration programs is the requirement for business management experience. Some provinces stipulate a minimum number of years of work experience in the position, within the range of 2-5 years of full time relevant  experience, but  in some provinces this is only a  requirement  and there is no minimum period of experience needed.

The entire PNP business immigration programs make it absolute necessary that the applicant must participate in the day- to -day business management. Sometimes, there is a requirement for performance agreement which will put into compulsion other benchmarks or requirements. Individual program also possesses an extra selection criteria which range from language to age requirements. With the exception of Ontario and Quebec, every other PNP business immigration programs consist either optional or compulsory government deposits which ensure that the applicant make the investment they indicated in their application.

Although the PNP business immigration programs vary in the required minimum net-worth, the required minimum investment and an exploratory visit is necessary. These are part of the factors to be considered when deciding the best program for you.
